These terms govern your use of the MoneyRabbit apps and website, operated by ZFlash Studios ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using MoneyRabbit you agree to them. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
If you obtained MoneyRabbit through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's own terms also apply to your download and any purchase you make there.
You must be at least 13 years old to use MoneyRabbit, and old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
You can try MoneyRabbit as a guest, in which case your data stays on your device until you connect an account. Guest data is not backed up, and losing or resetting the device means losing that data. Connecting an account uploads it so it can sync across your devices.
Please do not use MoneyRabbit to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, upload malicious code, harass other users, scrape or overload the service, attempt to bypass its security or payment mechanisms, or resell access to it. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
The expenses, receipts, notes and other content you add remain yours. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process and display that content so the service works — syncing it to your devices, showing it to the people you split with, and running the features you ask for. We do not use your financial content for advertising.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, including receipts or statements that mention other people.
MoneyRabbit calculates balances from what you and the people you split with enter. Those calculations are a convenience, not a settlement of any debt: MoneyRabbit does not hold, transfer or collect money, and it is not a party to any arrangement between you and the people you split with. Any actual payment happens outside the app, and disputes about who owes what are between you and them.
MoneyRabbit includes features powered by third-party AI models, including receipt scanning, smart import, chat, budget setup and spending insights. These are provided for convenience and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date.
Nothing in MoneyRabbit is financial, tax, accounting, investment or legal advice. Always check imported or scanned figures against your own records and statements before relying on them, and consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your records and for meeting any tax or reporting obligations.
MoneyRabbit Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase, and renews for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Play Store account settings; deleting the app does not cancel it. Because those stores are the merchant of record, refunds are handled under their policies, not by us. Prices vary by country and may change; where the law requires it we will give you notice and the chance to cancel before a change takes effect.
Free trials or promotional offers, where available, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
We work to keep MoneyRabbit available but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, suspend or remove features. If we discontinue a paid feature you have already paid for, we will provide a pro-rata refund or a comparable replacement where the law requires it.
You can stop using MoneyRabbit at any time and delete your account from Profile & settings → Delete my account, which permanently removes your account and personal data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, or where we are required to by law. Cancelling a subscription is separate and must be done in your store account.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MoneyRabbit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or SGD 100.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
We may update these terms. If the changes are material we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use MoneyRabbit after a change means you accept the updated terms.
